ALBUM PERSONALISATION OPTIONS
Make your wedding album truly yours with an extensive range of album personalisation options by following these simple steps. Let’s create a beautiful, bespoke album that showcases your favourite wedding photos in the best way possible. Once you’ve made your choices, just select your options using the form at the bottom of this page.
Step 1 – Choose your cover material
There is something for everyone in my range of cover materials for your album, from ethically sourced genuine leather to a wide range of vegan friendly natural materials such as linen, cotton and silk. Colours can be chosen that can be inspired by the colour scheme of your wedding, the season or just whatever floats your boat!
Step 2 – Choose your endpapers
Endpapers are the pages on the inside of both the front and back covers of your album, and colours can be chosen that compliment or contrast with your chosen cover material. If you need any advice on which colours work best together, please ask!
Step 3 – Choose your cover personalisation options
Make your album personal with two lines of text in a variety of printing methods and fonts. Many couples opt for their names and the date of their wedding or venue name, but feel free to set your creativity loose as you can have whatever you like! The font guides also show the maximum characters per line available with each font. Couple of important points – with the debossing options the text is always in upper case, and the blind debossing option is not available with some of the darker cover materials as the text becomes too hard to see (the exclusions are Dusk, Graphite, Latte, Saddle, Sandstone and Truffle).
Blind debossing, also known as blind blocking, stamping or simply debossing, is a traditional method of imprinting into a surface without ink or foil. It creates a subtle yet elegant and tactile finish.
The debossing process begins with individually typesetting brass characters. The brass text is then heated and pressed into the material, creating a depression in the shape of the text.
Blind debossing is a versatile technique that can be used on many cover materials but is especially suited to leather. The price includes two lines of text
Foil blocking, also known as hot stamping, is a process of imprinting metallic foil into a material to create a really eye-catching finish. It is similar to debossing, but instead of simply impressing the letters into the material, a thin layer of metallic foil is pressed into the indentation.
This is a dazzling and luxurious finish that is sure to make your album stand out from the crowd. The process is secret, and some may say it’s alchemy, but the final stage involves hand-laying 22-carat gold leaf to reproduce your text. The finish is something to behold and is a great choice for those who want a luxury finish.
If you prefer a silvery finish, then Palladium is available as an alternative to 22-carat Gold.
Step 4 – Choose additional mini copies
Mini copies, or parent albums, are reduced size (6×6″) duplicates of your main album, so contain the same images and layout. These make a meaningful and personal gift for family members or friends. Available with either leather or linen covers.
