Best Wedding Photography of 2022

I can hardly believe it’s that time of year again – 2022 has absolutely flown by! It has been so nice to have a year that resembles a ‘normal’ year for weddings (if such a thing exists). It has also been nice that I’ve stayed fairly local for most of my weddings this year, taking in some fantastic new venues as well as returning to some old favourites. I’ve also made it into the top 3 UK wedding photographers on MyWed, so feeling pretty chuffed about that!

As always, my couples have been absolute stars – I really do get to shoot the best people! You have all made my ‘job’ an absolute joy this year, so a massive thank you and huge congratulations to you all. And big thanks also to all the amazing suppliers and venue staff I’ve had the pleasure to work with this year. I’ve just delivered my final wedding gallery of the year so now would be a great time to get in any requests for images if you want some new stuff to share over the coming weeks ready for the start of 2023!

2023 though?! That sounds far too futuristic, doesn’t it? At times over the last few years it has seemed like we’re living in some kind of dystopian nightmare, with bad news lurking around every corner. The great thing about weddings though, is they have been the same joy and emotion-filled events they always have been, and it’s hard not to feel optimistic when surrounded by all that love and happiness. I’m really looking forward to the weddings I have booked in for next year – I’m sure there are going to be some amazing times had and some great moments captured.

I’ve been super organised this year – this is the first time I’ve had my ‘best of’ post out before Christmas, and I’m looking forward to being able to put my feet up and relax over the festive period. Hope you are all able to do the same. Anyway that’s quite enough waffle from me. Go and pour yourself a glass of egg-nog (do people actually drink that stuff?!) and inject a little positivity by looking at some shiny, happy, freshly-married faces.
