Best North East Wedding Photography 2018

Well 2019, you’ve really got your work cut out. What an incredible year 2018 was! I was lucky enough to photograph some really beautiful weddings and met some fantastic people along the way. As always, choosing my favourite photos from these weddings was an unbelieveably difficult task. There are sure to be some that should have made the cut and didn’t, but it is quite a task going through over 20,000 photos!

On a personal level, 2018 was really good to me, with one of the highlights being my inclusion in GoHen’s Top 50 UK Wedding Photographers list. This was entirely unexpected, but what a great honour to be included alongside some truly awesome photographers. I was even more chuffed when later in the year they also named me as one of their Top 50 Bridal Heroes of 2018, as this list is narrowed down to only 7 photographers. At the start of this year I also moved into the top 10 UK wedding photographers on MyWed, although with an insanely high standard of photographers above me I’m going to have my work cut out to climb any higher!

With my calendar for 2019 almost full, I’m hoping that this year delivers more of the same. I’m really looking forward to meeting all of my 2019 couples and want to say a huge thank you to all of you for putting your trust in me to capture your big days this year. Massive thanks also to all you bloody marvellous 2018 couples and suppliers – you made last year truly fantastic. Any couples looking to book, I have a few remaining dates for 2019 and am also taking bookings for 2020 so please get in touch!
