HEADLAM HALL WEDDING // KATHERINE + BRAD
A Headlam Hall wedding is a pleasure all year round, but especially so in Autumn. The grounds are full of beautiful Autumn colours. There is also some fantastic red ivy growing all over the side of this impressive 17th century country house.
With Autumn weddings you obviously run the gauntlet with the weather. Although the same could be said of any month in the UK! Katherine and Brad chose a perfect Autumn day. It was dry, overcast and calm – perfect conditions for wedding photography.
Katherine and Brad had their ceremony in St Mary’s Church in the picturesque village of Staindrop before heading over to Headlam for their reception. Once there we took a wander through the beautiful grounds. There really are few settings more pretty and romantic than here. It really is a fine example of a country house wedding venue. A cute little bridge, a maze and an orchard are just a few of the wonderful features.
The venue can cater for up to 120 guests and offers exclusive use for weddings. With 30 rooms for your guests to stay in, if you’re looking for an idyllic and relaxed wedding it is a great option. Located in the beautiful countryside of lower Teesdale, it really is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the north east.
