When Jess and Chris chose me to provide their Alnwick Treehouse wedding photography, I jumped at the chance to shoot at this incredible place. Alnwick Treehouse is just magical – a truly unique and beautiful wedding venue. What made Jess and Chris’s big day extra special was the fact they had an outdoor ceremony amongst the trees.
Jess looked fabulous in her beautiful Willowby by Watters Bali dress, with an elegant headpiece completing her chic boho look. Jess went for stylish mismatched dresses for her bridesmaids, with matching floral headpieces provided by Simply Flowers in Alnwick. Chris and the boys looked sharp in blue tweed Marc Darcy suits.
Jess and the girls got ready in The Old Newsagent’s, a stunning Georgian townhouse in Alnwick. The talented Stephanie Wilson ensured they all looked fantastic. Meanwhile the boys drank beer – sorry, got ready down the road at the White Swan. A VW Beetle and Campervan provided by Brookland’s Wedding Cars ensured Jess and the girls arrived in style.
After the ceremony Jess and Chris exited through a cloud of bubbles – a great alternative to confetti, and less messy! After a quick jaunt across the rope bridges to get some photos of the bride and groom it was time for speeches. Best Man Pete stole the show by delivering his in rap form!
After the meal it was time for the cutting of the absolute corker of a cake, made by Chris’s sister Sarah. From there it was on to the Potting Shed for first dance, with the fantastic White Feathers providing the music. The Alnwick Treehouse looks even more stunning by night, with fairy lights everywhere creating a fairytale backdrop. It was a perfect end to a perfect day, and I can’t wait for my next Alnwick Treehouse wedding.
Jess and Chris – huge congratulations to you both!
