Wynyard Hall wedding // Haley + Greg

How do I begin to describe the indescribable day that was Haley and Greg’s incredible Wynyard Hall wedding? The word “epic” gets bandied about a lot these days and is often used completely out of context, yet it is the most fitting word I can think of. Wynyard Hall was completely transformed and put under the spell of Haley and Greg, with the creative vision of Haley’s mum Rhona helping bring to life their Alice in Wonderland theme.

When Haley first told me what they had planned I was blown away by just how much detail and effort was going in to their big day. Plans that included splitting the huge marquee into two rooms, with two giant keyholes separating them and a secret Mad Hatter’s tea party on one side. A masquerade ball with unique masks for each of the 300+ guests (they basically brought the actual Venetian Masquerade Ball to Wynyard). Huge Alice in Wonderland themed props with brightly coloured furniture to be dotted around the grounds. Stilt walkers. Fireworks. Two incredible bands providing the evening entertainment (shout out to The Soul Brothers and The Faithettes who absolutely rocked it!) I could go on but the pictures probably tell a better story than I could.
