WEDDINGS AT NORTHSIDE FARM // HELEN + RAINER
Helen and Rainer’s wedding at Northside Farm was ’round two’ for this lovely couple, who had tied the knot a few weeks earlier in Germany. Or the second leg of England v Germany, if you like. And although I wasn’t there for the away leg, I’m declaring this a rare win for England!
WEDDING AT NORTHSIDE FARM
Northside Farm is such a great place to get married. Nestled in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, with the choice of two rustic barn conversions for your ceremony. It also has plenty of on-site accommodation in the form of glamping pods and the custom-built Fairytale cottages. Food and service are always top notch and it is the perfect venue for a chilled out, laid-back wedding.
April has traditionally been a month of showers, although in the last few years we have had some lovely sunshine. The weather for Helen and Rainer’s big day decided to give us plenty of both, resulting in some beautiful rainbows and a lovely sunset.
Having done the ‘legal stuff’ already, Helen and Rainer were able to have their good friends Dan and Gina conduct their ceremony. Personal touches like this can really help make a wedding special, and these guys did their job like seasoned professionals.
Evening entertainment was in the form of a ceilidh, brought to us by the amazing Blackbeard’s Tea Party. After an energetic set of dances, it was time to cool off in the rain for sparklers.
