SHOTTON GRANGE WEDDING // JULITA + JOHN

Julita and John had their Shotton Grange wedding in July, a perfect time of year to get married here with the gardens in full bloom. Here in the north east you can never guarantee the weather, but these guys hit lucky and had an amazing summer day.

The day started for me with some groom prep at the Hilton in Gateshead, in a room overlooking the iconic Tyne Bridge. From there it was on to Shotton Grange, a venue I have always loved shooting at. One of the many things I love about Shotton Grange is the variety it offers. You can have your ceremony in three different places. For an indoor ceremony there is the stunning Coaching House, or for outdoors there is the beautifully manicured Walled Garden, or the front of the Manor House.

Julita and John had their ceremony in the Coaching House followed by drinks reception in the magnificent walled gardens. Confetti and smoke bombs added some colour to what was an already vibrant day, which ended with some energetic dancefloor action.
